A Visit from Mouse!

Continuing with our work on biodiversity, Ms O’Connell organised for a visitor to come to speak to our class about animals native to Ireland.

Mouse came from www.owls.ie – The Children’s nature charity, and spent time talking to first class children about all kinds of birds and animals. He had lots of photographs and told us all sorts of interesting facts about animals such as the hedgehog, fox, Irish hare, wood mouse and kingfisher.
We learned a lot during our visit with Mouse and had loads of fun too!
